My very first picture

Hazel Alix Lamoureux, born in Boston at 10:12am to Sara and Jef. She’s plump and healthy at a good 7lbs. 14ozs.

Heard from Mom that Mickey was moved to St. Margaret Hall for rehabilitation very close to home. It appears that they did not treat her very well, although I don’t really know the details. Mickey was unhappy enough, however, to convince her doctor that she would be better off at home, so she was transported there. She has a few days of stay over nursing care and then she’ll be in Mom’s good hands.

I don’t know if she’s taking calls yet but I’m sure she’d love getting a message if you want to call or email because I’m sure she needs someone to tell her to keep her chin up!

Mickey Update

December 1st, 2011

Just heard from Mom that Mickey is out of surgery, has a brand-new hip and, doctor says, “is just fine.” All very good news.

She is at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, where she’ll be for the next 3 to 5 days; after which she’ll be convalescing at a facility nearby (don’t know the name yet) for another week or so.

Morgan happenings in Exeter, Maine

Lee spent the month of September at home in Maine after finishing his 2nd Afghanistan tour.

He, Lindy and I had a great time at the Garland Days Home brew contest among other things. Lindy rode her horse in the Garland Days parade.

On Lee’s last night in Maine before heading back to Camp LeJeune we all had a great time at my place drinking beer and having an awesome gun shoot.

A few weeks earlier Lee purchased a Glock handgun and super cool assault rifle (civilian AR15) …you haven’t lived until you have fired off 20 rounds in 10 seconds with this baby

Along with Lindy’s 9mm and my 22 pistol and 22 magnum rifle we fired off almost 400 rounds (expensive but worth it)

Fun was had by all and Lee really enjoyed his last night at home.

Oh, and yes, my vegetable and fruit business is getting bigger and better each year!

Sara Makes the Front Page!

Check out our [Boston College]psych department website. They did a profile on my lab and the whole family is in the video. I think it turned out pretty well, except for the really awkward shot of me walking into the lab – how staged does that look??!!!
